Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing fantastic!
I love food and I have always enjoyed cooking as well. Besides the times I am lazy, I do enjoy going all out in the kitchen and cook up a storm. A tasty lip smacking storm. But majority of the times I want it to be quick and boujee recipe that not only taste great but also look and feel luxurious!
So, I thought why not occasionally share recipes which have been a super success and are sure to work that magic every time. There is a plethora of cooking recipes and channels online, but this one is for the people who want to do something fun and exciting on a budget which doesn’t make you feel short of having a meal at your very own Michelin Star Restaurant.
Yes, Miss Kitchen Kaur is my alter ego who loves to spruce up dishes which the High Society Ladies of South Mumbai approve 😉
Starting today I thought, why not share a recipe made by my dearest Prashalee Tai. She is a fabulous cook and I have always wanted to get her cooking skills. I mean she is great! Recently she made this and I couldn’t wait to share this recipe with you all, my lovely readers.
SUGAR-FREE MANGO LASSI
Quantity: 6 glasses
- 5 Medium size Mangoes
- 3 tbl spoon Greek Yogurt
- 2 pinch of freshly grated Nutmeg
- 2 tsp of Cardamom powder
- 2 tbl spoon Honey (if required add more for sweetness)
- 1 tbl spoon of fresh Cream (full fat) or Malai
- Few strands of Saffron soaked in 3-4 drops of water
- Crushed pistachios, cashew nuts and frozen rose petals
- Pinch of salt
- 10 ice cubes
Put the mangoes, yogurt and ice cubes in a blender and blend well till a dense yet flowing consistency.
Add cardamom powder, nutmeg and honey and give it a blend once more.
Pour the mixture into the glasses and top it with a dollop of Fresh Cream/Malai right in the center. Don’t mind being generous with it if you like!
Garnish with saffron, crushed pistachios, cashew nuts, crushed rose petals and a tiny pinch of salt (to balance it all).
Serve it chilled and enjoy it over the latest gossip in town 😀
