I adhere to my beauty regimen like waking up every morning and having a shower. After lot of study and experiences, I’ve learnt that it is never too late to start looking after ones self and this goes for both men and women.

I’ve given an in depth analysis of how beauty products work on men and how their skin reacts differently to women. I’ve also listed some incredible products for guys out there. Check out –

Our daily skincare regimen is important, its what keeps us looking young in the long run. If you get this right and compliment it with a healthy diet and lifestyle, you wont need botox or fillers. Not that anything is wrong with them, but when you can prevent artificial injections.. why not?

Today, I’m going to talk about night-time skincare routine.

Night-time skincare regimen is very important to have. This is the time our skin regenerates all the good oils, heals itself and relaxes. I keep on updating my skincare regimen as and when I like. However, beauty oils always remain a constant in my night-time skin care. Many products have changed in the due course of time, however my beauty oils last the longest and have the most effective results.

Through skin cleanse is essential 1ststep to having a good night-time regimen. Continue will all your steps that you do, be it masking, essence, serum, amopule etc and stop. All these light layers of skincare can be put first followed with heavier skincare like night creams, oils etc. To make it simpler for you follow this chart –

This is what I’ve been doing lately, simple and quick night-time routine –

  1. Oil cleanse/Micellar water
  2. Face wash
  3. Face scrub (twice/thrice a week)
  4. Skin treatment if any
  5. Eye mask

    And Sleep!

But when there is no skin treatment involved, I like to switch up my night-time routine with –

  1. Oil cleanse/Micellar water
  2. Face wash
  3. Face scrub (twice/thrice a week)
  4. Face oil
  5. 3D Face Massage
  6. Eye mask
  7. Lip balm

    And Good night!

This is a far simpler, easier night-time skin care routine I follow when I do not have the time for complete indulgence. The good part is that all these products are compact and you can carry them in your toiletries. No unnecessary product, just enough and that works wonders for your skin.

These steps can be done on flight, during travels, vacation, before a special day/event, anything at all. They are quick, easy and simple.

What’s so different and unique in this method than others? Well, two products in particular – Beauty oil’s and 3D Face Massager.

And it looks like our very own Deepika Padukone, also regularly uses her 3D Face Roller in her night time skin routine –

We have plenty of beauty oils in the market. I’ve seen my skin transform with these two –

  1. Bio Oil
  2. The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil
  3. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
  4. Castor Oil mixed with Olive Oil for eyebrows and eyelashes (any natural/organic brand)

The thing with these products is that you don’t require a lot. Barely few drops and your full face is nourished. Too much of oil blocks our pores too. Hence it’s best to use as less as possible, when it comes to oils. These beauty oils for a long time as we hardly require any product on day-to-day basis. It’s an absolute value for money and completely customisable. You can mix oils together; create your own potion of beauty oil as per your requirements.

Once you’ve decided which beauty oils you are going to use at night, apply them all over your face and neck with clean hands. Massaging your face centre to outwards – meaning pulling your face up, like this:

Lymphatic drainage is key! Remember always!

We should ideally massage our face for 5 minutes to get the oils to seep into our skin. Sometimes our hands get tired, sometime we are multitasking to use both our hands for massage and most of the times we do not know the correct way of massaging our face. More than usual, we massage our face in the wrong direction thereby not getting desirable results.

A good massage to your face is natural contouring. It’s phenomenal. But are you going to have that energy each day to do that massage? A proper 3D massage with your fingers and knuckles? I know, you can’t. Even I can’t.

So this is what I started doing – I found this amazing tool on Amazon.in called Leoie Women’s 3D Metal Face-lift Roller Massager Beauty Tool. This 3D massager has changed my skincare game.

What is it: Metal Face Massage Instrument/Beauty Tool

Where to buy: Amazon

Cost: Rs.271/- (subject to ongoing discounts)

I use the 3D massager in the following pattern.

It gently massages my skin while stimulating blood circulation on my face. Also, because it’s a three-dimensional massager, it really does the job of a half an hour massage in 5 mins. This is a very easy anti-aging treatment to do on ones self. There’s no problem a good massage can’t solve! Including your problems of fine lines and wrinkles. There’s stimulation of collagen, lymphatic drainage, a good exercise for the skin and over all helps the skin in looking healthy and beautiful.

A good facial and a good massage are the most therapeutic treatments. Muscles relax and it’s just very calming. That’s exactly how this 3D massager works. Ideal for releasing those sinus and acupuncture points. The solar panel on the top of the 3D massager help in creating micro currents. It firms the skin and neutralises the current/energy flow on our face and neck. De-puffs the skin, provides a healthy glow and works on elasticity of the skin.

This is an easy facial to include in your night-time routine, which gives your skin the love it needs. Relaxes muscles and can minimise a headache after a stressful day. The warm and tingly feeling after using the roller for five minutes leaves the skin feeling firm. The even strokes leave your face relaxed and a dreamy or floating feeling like after a spa massage.
